  • You can hire our holiday home in South Africa for a minimum of 3 nights/days.

  • During the Christmas holidays: a minimum of 7 nights, with arrival and departure dates to be agreed due to cleaning requirements during this holiday period.

Book well in advance – Mhofu Holiday Home is in high demand.


The rental price includes:
Bed linen and towels, initial and final cleaning and/or weekly cleaning, towels for the Pumbad, local taxes, electricity and water consumption, and Wi-Fi.

Number of guests:
We accommodate up to 5 guests.
Bookings for 6 people can also be made on request; the cost is an additional €60, regardless of the number of days.


Caretaker
Our caretaker welcomes guests to Mhofu Holiday Home. The caretaker will show you around the holiday home and its surroundings, and provide information about Mhofu and Marloth Park. The caretaker is your point of contact during your stay.


Payment methods:

  • Rental prices are quoted in euros; you can pay by bank transfer within the EU (no fees) or via PayPal (fees apply).

  • The reservation can only be converted into a confirmed booking once the deposit has been credited to our account.

  • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 50% of the total cost, payable within 7 working days; otherwise, the reservation may be cancelled.

  • The final payment must be made 6 weeks before arrival. The holiday home will be fully ready for your arrival. The beds will be made up and the fridge and water heater will be switched on. Bed linen, kitchen towels, coffee, tea, towels & soap, and washing-up liquid are included (food and drink are not).
     

  • You are the only guests in the holiday home.

  • Check-in: 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm, check-out by 10.00 am.

  • Staying longer than 7 nights? Weekly cleaning plus replacement of bed and bath linen.

  • Additional services: click here.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited at Mhofu.

  • No noise disturbance of any kind is permitted.

  • Pets are not allowed in Marloth Park.

  • Free use of mobile Wi-Fi. Prepaid calls are at your own expense.

  • We recommend that you always take out travel and cancellation insurance.

  • In South Africa, there are regular power cuts (load-shedding) due to government-related issues.
